Global Centre for Work-Applied Learning

Most organisations struggle to make change last.

Global Centre for Work-Applied Learning (GCWAL) empowers managers and their teams as well as organisations to plan and implement change and to undertake practitioner research, using the Work-Applied Learning (WAL) change model.

The WAL change model, has been evolving since 1979. It extends the concept of Work-Based Learning which focuses on individual and team learning, by enabling organisational learning and the creation and management of organisational knowledge.

WAL puts managers to work on a real change problem inside their own organisation, and builds their capability and capacity to lead change that holds. Through our licensing framework, organisations acquire the internal capability to introduce and manage change themselves — permanently.
